Distraction: A state of mental uncertainty.
And, yes, today it's "kid" because I have a son who is DRIVING and WILL SOON BE 17. Apparently, I am old ;)
So, I had an interview today and OH MY but there were a bazillion questions regarding hypothetical situations and what would you do if.... But the hardest questions were the ones asking you to recall a time where you did X, Y, Z or how you resolved this, that, or the other and what you learned from it. Holy Cow! So many opportunities to say something completely ridiculous and/or completely blow it. I was at a loss about how to prepare for it and am glad to know that there really wasn't a way to prepare anyway. I felt pretty good initially based on their responses to my answers at the time but, in hindsight, I'm not so sure.
I don't even remember half of what I said and coming up with real life experiences on the spot was HARD! Of course, you think of better examples after it is all over.
It was really unnerving, even after it was all over.

Distraction: someone or something that provides amusement or enjoyment.
*Oh yeah*
Thankfully, I came onto my flist and was rendered unconscious became distracted by the pretty. And, sure, I am always late to the party, mainly because I depend too much on my flist to keep me up to date with the news/fic/pretty, but, sometimes, the pretty must be shared NO MATTER WHAT!

Old. But not dead. *goes back to letching*

*runs screaming with you* This "letting go" moment is harder than any thus far. Tomorrow, Brandon will be driving to school and work on his own and I can hardly stand it. But, it has to be done sometime. Ugh!!!

I'm glad you survived the interview. I suspect not getting up and screaming after all of that was a good sign to them. :)

Yes, I certainly hope so. I definitely felt a bit surreal after it was over.
He is very pretty. Actually, he is prettier than the usual objects of my *ahem* affection, which is strange. I've quit trying to figure these things out.

The particular pretty here is one that has never captured my interest, but even I can see these are some well-done shots. Nice pose, nice angles, nice mood, etc. I can see how one who did like such pretty would be oh so pleasantly distracted. But yeah, get that boy some pie. ;)

Yeah, this particular pretty is not a style/type that I am usually drawn to but, again, I always fall for an actor playing a particular character first so there is usually no way of predicting just how I might "branch out" when it comes to gushing.
But, yeah, these pics are about as far from Merlin as you can get. And it kindof demonstrates, pictorally, this actor's amazing versatility, which I have had the chance to see. I think he could play just about any character, with the exception of muscle-ey action hero (which would require the consumption of a whole lot of pie) and, well, we have the actor who plays Arthur (plus the rest of the Knights) for that. LOL!
