Except there's no bulleting since I'm not sure how to do this with an app and I've given up on true bullets.

Finished the Christmas shopping around midnight last night. Midnight is a really good time for Walmart shopping.

Took a break from shopping to meet my friend Flanigen! for dinner and a movie. I miss working with her because she is a fellow odd bird geek girl. She experienced quite a few paroxysms of squee with the Dark Knight trailer.

But, oh my goodness, Sherlock 2 was about the most fun I have had at a movie in ages. We laughed and laughed. I think it is better than the first one!

And the slash goggles weren't even remotely necessary. And that is saying A LOT coming from me.

So, who needs wire cutter/wire strippers to install the new receiver/surround sound? Not this girl! Nope, I managed just fine with surgical scissors, hemostat forceps, and a size 11 scalpel!

Have I mentioned that it is an indisputable truth that I should never, ever go into Best Buy?

I can't believe the Merlin finale is tomorrow! I'm apprehensive about how it's going to go down and excited and can't believe we'll have to wait so long, especially since it'll likely be all cliffhangery. I've managed to avoid being totally spoiled by that digital spy spoilery fail. Knowing me like you do, Isn't that rather miraculous?

I know, the day isn't over.

Speaking of spoilery fail. Syfy is comprised of a bunch of idiots. If you haven't watched series four and you plan on watching on Syfy, avoid any and all previews/trailers. Seriously.

Dude, the trailer. I saw it yesterday and I just went, "Well, way to spoil the entire season, seriously." I'm so glad I don't wait for it to air here in the States.

That day sounds fantastic. Glad you're having fun with the holidays. And today is it! I might text you to see when you watch the finale. Maybe we could text during it and fume and be sad together. I'm not expecting happy times.

It really was! Even though I think the audience we were with enjoyed it, too, I think there were quite a few times where we were the only two laughing!

It also had a fair amount of plot, action, and h/c to go along with all the funny.

Yes, I was pretty mad when I saw the trailer. As much as I do read the occasional spoilery thing, I have been better this series and 403 completely shocked and wowed me and they go and spoil the pivotal game changer.

Yes, going into Best Buy usually gets me in trouble but it was a good sale and I still had some b-day money Mom gave me.

Still, the sound is AWESOME, as is the picture since buying the receiver solved the problem of my broken HDMI ports on the TV. Two out of three had decided to play only picture. No sound.

Nancy & I are planning on seeing Sherlock on New Year's Eve. Since we are seeing the later show, I might still be up at midnight to see the New Year in. I am quite the party girl..... NOT. ; )

I am off to my sister's tonight for dinner - Turkey with a ton of Gravy and a few vegetables too. ; ) Tomorrow it is Prime Rib at my brother's.

SyFy has always been bad with their spoilery trailers. You got to wonder about who makes those and why they don't have a clue.

Oh! That sounds like a fun New Year's Eve!

I need to be wrapping presents! Oh well, it has been ages and ages since I just came online a goofed off. My house isn't a total shambles and the family is coming tomorrow. It is good to just sit at home and do nothing and go no where. The sun has graced us with an appearance so I really, really should go for a walk.

Yes, I know Syfy has a history of ruining an upcoming show in their previews but this went beyond bad, I think.
