Freaking LJ

My icon totally represents that feeling when you've taken a fair amout of time to post an update and LJ LOSES IT despite the draft autosave feature.

I feel like I did when the electricity went off when I was 25 pages into a paper and didn't know if I would be able to save what I had lost. (Well, not that bad but pretty close)

Various and sundry curse words omitted.

You just thought you were gonna see the update you've been anxiously waiting for. ;-)

Now, I just don't have it in me to recreate what I had written. Maybe later.

Well that sucks. I hope you do get around to do an update. :) :)

I managed to get in the mood to pack this evening (cleared out my closet) so I am rewarding my self with checking into LJ and then watching some of the TV shows I have saved on my DVR.

With working over 40 hours a week, the long commute and getting up @ 5:30 am, I am too tired at the end of the day to put much effort into packing. Thankfully I don't have a lot of stuff.

I am moving on May 29.

Moving is such a pain. Are you moving somewhere closer to your current job so as to make the commute less?

Rewarding oneself for getting stuff done is probably the only way I ever get anything done. LOL!!!

I think wanting to bitchslap LJ is not a new experience to most users. I've taken to copying my entry before posting. That way I can just paste it in again if LJ goes boom.

I am not closer but now I can take the express bus to work. It is only 35 mins instead of 50 and the bus is more comfortable. Believe me that and the extra 1/2 sleep makes a whole world of difference.

I am sorry I didn't do an update this weekend. I think it will have to wait until after I move. Then I can give you all the gory details. ; )
