I must say I have been very productive today and am quite proud of the whole thing. Sometimes I feel like a detective searching for clues that aren't there...ack...it is very hard to find the documentation needed to have an accurate MDS assessment. (and I would have gotten away with it if not for those pesky kids!) Sorry, flashback. I like the care planning muuuuuch better.

Well, very soon now I will be closer to 40 than 30. Bummer. I have enjoyed my 30's except for those irritating lines and gray hairs that I am tracking with the intensity of Norad. I have become a bit more sure of myself which is quite a relief. There isn't much that would make me go back to my 20's. Well, maybe one thing would entice me but that is neither here nor there. Of course, I have always been fascinated with the idea that all of time is occuring at the same time so maybe it really *is* neither here nor there.

What does everyone think of the previews for Alexander. Aside from the fella who is playing Alexander's weird looking hairstyle and Angelina Jolie's "accent" (maybe it is those lips!) it looks to be quite expansive. But, who am I to judge accents really. It isn't as though I am an expert. I just found it distracting. Alexander's hair too. Boy, and ole Val has seen better days. LOL, I am so shallow this evening. What a hoot!

I did the whole quiz thing. Apparently I know things no one else does. Except, of course, the definition of meme. Heh, heh Now where did Live journal put my new icon, dangit.

I've only seen bad reviews of ALEXANDER.

I had to sigh when reading the paper this Saturday. Some ignorant gay-hater wrote to complain that the film should've been called ALEXANDER THE GREAT HOMOSEXUAL, and that his family was scarred by the experience of watching the film. (Hello? Wasn't it rated R? Did you look at reviews?) He claimed that if Alexander truly was gay, they only should have spent 1 minute on it and moved on. But from what I remember (which isn't much), Alexander's male lover played a pretty significant role in his life.

Don't really know why I'm ranting about this . . .
