Vogon Poetry, anyone
May. 8th, 2005 06:22 pmYes, obviously I was able to see HGTTG and I don't think I have laughed so hard in such a long time. It made it all the better that I was able to see it with de23 and
dm_lunsford . I can't remember the particulars as well as dm_lunsford but I was very pleased that the whole Vogon poetry bit was in there. I may have to take the youngun to see it so I can see it again. The actor who played Arthur Dent made me even more sympathetic to that character and Ford was a hoot, especially due to the myriad ways he found to brandish his towel. Now that's a prop! ROFL!!!
It has been a busy weekend. I did finish The Subtle Knife and yes, De, I finally did get to the more obviously "anti CS Lewis" parts. But, still a really great story and I am keen to see where it is all going. Of course, since M loaned me her copy of Sacrifice Moon, the third book in the series might have to wait a few days....LOL!
All in all, I had a great weekend and hate to see it end.
