(no subject)

........is what I have been and I have to say that I have rather enjoyed it. This long weekend is the closest thing I am getting to a vacation this year and I have spent it doing practically nothing. Friday morning I got to have a nice coffee and chat with docfrazier , ruralstar , and scarym1 . I haven't been able to do that in a loooooong time and it was great. Later that evening, I was able to meet up with dm_lunsford and de23 . We had dinner at The Olive Garden where I ate a nutritious entree with salad and promptly followed it up with Lemon Creme Cake. Sigh. Well I suppose someone has to be fat so that others feel really good about themselves..LOL! Then, we followed dinner by seeing ROTS which I found to be much better the second time around. On my first viewing, the pace seemed rather frantic but this wasn't the case this time around. I am not sure how it would seem the 12th time around as in Michelle's case...or was it 13? LOL!

The next day, I met the family at our usual hangout for lunch. My niece and nephew are in visiting so I brought them home with me for awhile. While Cody and Brandon played video games, Holly and I surfed the internet for "hot actor guys." I hope she learned from this activity that we never grow up! More likely she learned that her Aunt is a little odd. LOL. I even subjected her to a few vids so she could get a glimpse of my favorite "hot actor guy" even though his image is..ahem...prominent as my desktop background.

Brandon left later to go watch the fireworks but, being the slug that I am, I decided to stay home. It was a rare treat to be able to simply stay home. So, I spent the evening reading fanfic and watching Babylon 5. I am in the 5th season and wonder what I am going to do after I am finished? Fortunately, Gate starts back up in a few weeks and I could always *gasp* read a book or two. Sunday was pretty much more of this slug like behavior. Today, however, I do actually intend to exit hermit mode and leave the house to go to the pool. I hope everyone else has had a great weekend!
