Weekends go by so quick!

You turn around and they are gone. It was a nice weekend and at least this weekend I wasn't a hermit...well, not much anyway. As if it wasn't hot enough, my son has kept the roads blazing. Speaking of heat, I had something happen to me that has never happened to me in my entire life history. Tennessee summers can be rather warm and muggy (understatement!) and I have never really been much for the dog days of summer, that are getting earlier it seems. Anyway, I went walking and, during my walk, as I was sweating, huffing, and puffing, it dawned on me how really good the heat and the humidity felt. WHAT!?! Is this one of those signs of aging? Were too many exercise endorphins inducing delerium? Anyway, I thought it rather strange and thought I would comment.

In other entertainment news, I began my watching of Farscape. I wanted to check out that Ben Browder fella before seeing him on Gate friday (HOORAY!!!!) Now, so far I think it is a good show but I have yet to figure out how it could be considered absolutely brilliant by some, like that Matt person from TV Guide who is always slamming Gate and bemoaning Farscape's cancellation. Who knows...maybe as time goes on my opinion will change but I have to say that B5 wooed me much faster. Anyhow, I really do like the characters, especially BB.
