Counteroffer

Okay, now it is really good to feel wanted but it sure wreaks havoc on decisions that you have made (the administrator is wanting to know what it would take to get me to stay!!!! ) Ack! In any case I have committed and I won't go back on my word.

And, even though the money is always a consideration, there IS more to life than that and Monday-Friday with a somewhat more comparable salary isn't going to change the fact that I am bored senseless!!! (I must be crazy?)  Anyway, at least I know where I stand and all and am pretty much certain that I haven't burned any bridges. I told her that a few months from now as I am toiling away in an overcrowded ER I will most likely think "What have I done?" LOL! But, I am a nurse and taking care of patients is what I do. The paper trail will never give me that feeling of fulfillment. Even though I am sure I must be crazy! In any case, I did concede to staying PRN.

In other news...Wheeeeeeeeeeeeee.....Gate tonight!!!
