Mar. 10th, 2006 05:29 pmWhen I come back from a work stretch, I always feel that I have lost touch with everyone on my f-list because of the sheer number of entries that have been posted during that seven days. You all are such an introspective and literate lot! Add to that the fact that I am groggy from having just climbed out of bed and it is no wonder that I am dazed and overwhelmed.
I am very excited, albeit groggily, about my upcoming trip to visit soniag.
de23 ,
dm_lunsford , and I will making the mother of road trips!!! However, I haven't even begun to get ready. I am sure I will be running around on Sunday like a chicken without a head but tonight I am just too tired to think about it. I have to work a few hours on Saturday. Stupid me and my overactive guilt.
Speaking of work, I am going to give an every weekend schedule a try. That would mean working every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. However, aside from the every weekend aspect of it, there are many pros to working this schedule. Not spending seven days completely out of touch would be one of them...LOL! We'll see. I may work, it may not. It certainly might keep me from having to do fractions over the phone with Brandon while I am working in the ER!
During my last off stretch I completed season one of LOST. I LOVE this show and, now, I cannot wait to see what happens next. I knew that would happen. I am recording but it is too far into the current season to actually watch. I actually made a list of the episodes in order to make sure I don't accidentally watch out of order. Tonight is the season finales of Gate, Atlantis, and BSG. I suppose I will only be watching Gate as I have weeks of the others to watch before tackling the finales. I suppose that gives me plenty of time during the break to catch up, though I read that BSG is opting for an October season premiere this go round. I wonder why that is? Why mess with a great lineup? (This coming from one who hasn't had the time to actually watch all three and who is now eons behind!)
