I received a gargantuan book that is supposed to help me prepare for the GRE. I so dread taking this test as my math skills suck. Sure I can do drip and dosage calculations all day long but these tests usually go way beyond that. I suppose it will be a good way to get back into the habit of studying. I also need to update my resume and write an essay about why I want to attend graduate school. I say, does this really matter? My reasons are my own and I am sure TPTB could really care less about them. It's just another task to make things seem more diffcult and more competitive. Would I really be putting forth the time and effort, not to mention the overwhelming cost if I didn't want to do it?
Brandon and I managed to have some terrific swim time despite the thunderstorms. Tuesday, we had only been there a short time before we had to leave but yesterday we managed to avoid storms and stayed the entire day. I ended up with only a marginal sunburn. It's pretty hot and humid this week so a dip in the pool was nice.
It's back to work tomorrow but only five more weekends to get through before Vacation and Toronto...wheeeeeee.
