Overwhemed!

I am currently in a state of perpetual grouchiness. I am overwhelmed by the state of my house (and how does it become such a shambles with no one here?), overwhelmed by the number of LJ entries I am behind on, and all gloomy about something that I wouldn't even write about in a personal journal much less in a more public one! Why do I have so many hangups about expressing  personal "stuff"? I am such a complete weirdo. I am surprised I have friends at all, much less people who will read this drivel!

On a lighter note my son asked me if I "was on my period". I told him "No" in a very sulky manner. ROFL! They do learn quickly. I am surprised he didn't ask me if I had had any coffee. He's learned about that one too!

I did have a wonderful early start to the week visiting with friends de23 , soniag , and dm_lunsford  It was a definite high point!

I don't know why I am such a whiney butt! Maybe I am just tired.

I think it's just the post-Christmas "blah" - I'm feeling it too. And all the decorations around my home that were so bright and festive just a few days ago are now beginning to feel more like "clutter". I think it's our sub-conscious wigging out because it knows we have to take everything down now. Bah!

At any rate, Sonia is right - we're here to listen to whatever you want to vent about. You could always do a "lock" post. Or take it to e-mail. Just remember we love ya! : )

You have many friends as you know, from far and wide as well as close at hand. If ever you need to vent please feel free. It's not everyone's style to share their inner thoughts and I understand if you never take me up on the offer. Just know that you always have an ear or a shoulder.

Awwww...thanks. I am over it a teensy bit and feeling somewhat silly for posting. Yes, more hangups...I know....LOL!

Watching a bit of Farscape helped me greatly. For future reference, the two parter,Infinite Possibilities, is TERRIFIC!!!!

Please feel free. I apologize for not emailing you re: a birthday. I did think of it and then decided against it. Maybe that is part of it?

It will be good to all be together in Jan. I do so enjoy us being together, even if we disagree on standings. It's just nice to have those around us that we know care.

Isn't that the truth! I really look forward to our get togethers.

I am on the up swing even though my motivation to get anything done is still pretty much non existent. I hope that improves before my house falls in...LOL!

Glad to hear you are doing some better. I know what you mean about the house -- we had planned to take down the tree and all today, but I decided to take S to see Narnia instead and then just had no energy.

And you know I'm always here to vent to, whatever it's about. I think we need to have a girl talk session over the MLK weekend. It's been too long since we've done that.
