(no subject)

What on earth did I do with my one day off? I slept for most of it, naturally, but what then? Ah well, no matter. This week is going to be weird anyway since I have a PALS class on Thursday which means I cannot work Wednesday or Thursday night. I will be working Friday night instead.

I did manage to watch Gate yesterday, and what can I possibly say except Ethon is THE BEST episode of the second half. (See, I have a really hard time picking faves but if I narrow it down a bit, I can do it!)

I found that I didn't really know how it was all going to play out. And, though I thought it was a bit ugly as far as space ships are concerned, I felt quite a bit of sadness when Prometheus was destroyed, though, the title should have given it away somewhat. Alas, poor Pendergast. Two eps in a row where the heartstring tugging has induced a great deal of misty eye! I loved all of the team interactions. Loved Teal'c and Sam's little moment when he saw that she didn't go down with the ship. Mitchells little hug was sweet but it was Teal'c and Sam's reunion that got me choked up. I also felt for Daniel in the cell thinking that everyone was lost!

Although I know Daniel was trying for a peaceful solution without significant loss of life, I was like Blow the satellite already!!! Arggggh. But, that really would have only hastened Caledonia's attack on Rand. The ending was so depressing in that it was really all for nothing. I haven't felt quite that gasp of despair at an ending since I watched Farscape's Different Destinations.

I might give this more thought later but Ethon could be my fave of the whole season with Ripple Effect and Prototype coming in close behind.

It was odd watching it on Sunday. I was in a cranky mood so on one hand it made me feel better because it was such an awesome ep but then the ending made me feel depressed.

What time are you working on friday? I have it off. Hopefully we can meet up and chat.: )

Well, I am working all night Friday night. And, now, the class was cancelled so now I am working all night tonight as well. This whole week has been totally messed up..LOL.

But, maybe this weekend we will have a chance to chat!
