Merry Christmas
I want to take this time to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. Like Mary, I really wish I had another Gatecon to look forward to simply because of the opportunity it afforded to see all of you! I miss you guys!! (((((HUGS)))))) But, until money can be saved and future trips can be planned, and I have every intention of making more in the future, phone calls, e-mail, and live journal will have to do. I would certainly like to head North to see Mary and I would love to cross the pond and see Mal, Star, and Merlie. Sigh...Someday!
I hope everyone is having a great holiday and for you folks traveling, I wish you a safe and fun filled trip. It sure seems alot of you are heading for warmer climes!? As for me, it is nice to see the snow even if it did cause me to work a 22 hour shift! But, I am off for the holiday which is something new for me. I practically don't know what to do with myself. The house is cleaned, the food has been bought for Christmas breakfast, and now all there is to do is wait for the festivities to begin. I am sure I could be baking but I can't let myself get too carried away now can I ;-) Besides, RS has done enough of that for everyone! I told her she should just open a bakery and be done with it!!!

I really enjoyed our chat last week, it's always great to catch up. I hope your Christmas breakfast went off without a hitch. Sounds like you were well prepared for a houseful of family and fun.
I bought two books with your gift. Thanks ever so much! Dragon's Kin is part of Anne McCaffrey's Pern series. This one is written by her son as she's getting on in years. First Rider's Call is the second book written by Kristen Britain, the first book was called Green Rider, a fun read. So I have tons to catch up on. ((((((((hugs))))))))))
