For crying out loud.

I went back to work on Friday night and, lo and behold, there was a memo posted in the bathroom!!! I mean, come on. Is no place sacred? Talk about your multi tasking! I think the DON should do a whole notebook of memos and place them in the bathroom. That way, there will be no time wasted and we'll have reading material to boot. I have been on about this the entire weekend and it has been the frequent butt of my jokes. (Believe it or not, the people at work think I'm a comedian. I must find way more material there than I do in real life!!!)

I had a wonderful time last week with [profile] de23, [personal profile] soniag, and [profile] dm_lunsford. It was a great trip that we should make a habit!! We walked to a coffee shop each am (how's that for incentive!), shopped, had tea, shopped, and spent the evening watching Stargate with a little P&P and Moonlighting thrown in for good measure. There was much squeeage to be had, I assure you. I had to come back to reality with a jolt, jumping right into my work stretch. Waaa.

My sister is on the verge of having her baby. I told her she would have to wait till I was off..LOL. Work is weird like that. I'm not sure they'd even allow calling in dead as a good excuse. I got the x-ray report regarding Brandon's wrist/forearm and the radiologist seems to think there is some fracture there that might even involve the growth plate. Of course, I get this report after I have been gone for a week as the ER doc (and myself) thought it was just a sprain. Brandon is having no pain whatsoever and no problems with ROM. I am not sure I am going to follow up with this though the growth plate thing worries me. I tried to call an ortho for advice but I didn't get past the receptionist who said they wouldn't give me advice and recommended I see my PCP. Gah, used to be the shortest distance between two points was a straight line. I suppose I will talk to my PCP and see what he says. Is it really going to make any difference this far out?

I have decided that memes are very relaxing. I'll leave you with some....LOL

I know and that was the only reason I was concerned. My PCP said we should redo the films since he is having no pain. I haven't gotten around to it yet what with my sister's new baby and the teensy pneumothorax the baby is recovering from.

I loved your wistful photos, by the way!
