Extremely productive!
Mar. 29th, 2006 10:07 pmI have been on a cleaning spree this evening! I have spent the last several hours going through all of Brandon's clothes...again! Once a year should be enough for this task but not this year. I sold his bedroom set to a coworker as he has decided to graduate to a full size bed. My coworker came to get it this evening and once it was all moved out, it was time to clean and rearrange everything which somehow managed to extend to the computer room as well. (I know I should call this room something else. Home office? Study? Somehow, I can't seem to do it...LOL!) We went shopping earlier in the day for a headboard and boxspring and mattress. Would you believe that it was a bit difficult to find just a headboard in the full size range? They should deliver it tomorrow sometime, hopefully early as Brandon and I were planning on having a "fun day". So, the house is in pretty good shape though I can't really say the same thing about the laundry.
I watched The Goblet of Fire again last night. I hadn't seen the movie since it was in the theater. Somehow, it was even better the second time around. It seems that everything I watch in the theater feels rushed to me.(Excepting the LOTR series where it is safe to say there was no rushing going on there save for me rushing to the bathroom after the three plus hours were over...LOL!!) Goblet of Fire is my favorite of all the Potter books and Harry's showdown with Voldemort in the cemetery, as well as the following scenes, tops my list for favorite parts. After watching this scene again I decided to reread that part in the book and I realized what a great job the cast and filmmakers did with those scenes! After much wheedling, Brandon also got me to finally watch Elf with him. This happens to be the DVD that Brandon told his Nanny that I "wanted" for Christmas. Sly dog he is!
Hopefully baby Abby will get to come home tomorrow as well.
