The Weekly Review.

It's back to the old grindstone tonight thought I can't really complain as I have had a pretty good week in that it hasn't really flown by. The bug man was here yesterday and told me that I had a hole in my AC ductwork under the house. Lovely that I am cooling the underside of my house as well. Fortunately, it is just now getting hot enough outside for the AC to kick on but I have to wonder if I was heating my crawl space for the entire winter as well...

I was all excited about getting to start season two of Scrubs and when I popped the disc in, up came The King of Queens. Grrrrrrrrrr. This is my first Netflix mixup and hopefully the last, though I am sure it is to be expected from time to time. So, I actually watched a few movies this week. (How novel!) I saw Walk the Line which was terrific and certainly lived up to all the hype and Tristan + Isolde which greatly exceeded my expectations ( they were pretty low except for Rufus Sewell being in it. I like him.)  Of course Brandon wondered why I was watching a movie called Tristan Is Old. ;-) I also came across a movie called The Myth of Fingerprints. I missed the beginning but saw Noah Wyle so, naturally, I had to pause in my channel surfing. It's always nice to watch a movie about a family more dysfunctional than your own...LOL. However, it had one of those endings where I am like, "That's it?" It just ended, seemingly in the middle of it with no real resolution. I know that such a thing is true to life. Mostly, there is no resolution when it comes to family dynamics.  People either tend to keep their distance from family or just simply maintain the status quo; accept this is how it is and move on. But, still, I like some resolution with my fiction, please.
