I have spent the last two and a half hours working math problems and now my head hurts...LOL.  And that was only the first section! I have several more to work through on the math review. Argggghhhhhh. I decided to start with that first as we all know that is my primary weakness.

I was going to head to the pool today but Brandon spent the entire day yesterday at Venture River (water park)  with my brother. (I am so going next time!) So, I felt that he needed a break before having another day in the sun since he hasn't reached that level of really good base tan yet. Plus, I spent yesterday running errands and making a trip to Walmart and I really needed a day to do laundry and straighten the house. I definitely plan to go tomorrow and if we have thunderstorms tomorrow I am going to be angry..LOL. It was calling for some in the afternoon today which is another reason I felt today would be a good day to stay home and, lo and behold, there has hardly been a cloud in the sky! 

I am still working on season two of Scrubs and it is still a hoot! And for something completely different I am still on season two of X-files. Of course, X-files is going to take the better part of a decade to get through since there are a bazillion seasons and each disc has only 4 eps. Scrubs won't take quite as long and I am going to need to add something to my queue soon. Any suggestions about my next must see TV, anyone?

I had a nice chat with docfrazier on the phone last pm. Hopefully, when she gets her DSL up and running, we will see more of her online.

I have been notified that I have three noms in the Stargate Fan Awards. I won't likely win anything but it is nice to be nommed.

Congrats on the nomination. I was as well, which came as rather a surprise as I don't recall ever being noticed for this particular awards before. I have a feeling the categories/submissions are going to be huge, so I'm not expecting anything either. But it was a pleasant surprise. : )

I will definitely need to put them on the list. Perhaps Veronica Mars first since it is currently airing and maybe I could get caught up enough to record current showings.

I have had a nom once before and they are pretty huge for the vid section unless they change the way they categorize. In the past I think all team vids got lumped together which makes sense but then all the character vids were lumped together, no matter what character, and so on and so forth. There can only be one vid per subcategory so I had to figure something out for the two Daniel vids. Since Die Another Day is somewhat tongue in cheek, I labeled it humor. Fields of Innocence is the other and it was either place one in a different category or delete one of them. I couldn't decide! LOL. The team vid, From East to West rounds out the three. I had actually recently edited FETW adding more clips and working with some timing issues. Die Another Day wasn't changed but I replaced those downloaded clips toward the end with fresh, recently ripped ones and fiddled with the ending so we see Daniel's bare chest throughout the credits....sigh....LOL. (difficult choice ;-))

Die Another Day, Fields of Innocence, and From East to West. Since there can only be one vid nominated in a subcategory, I had to do something with one of the Daniel vids. I could have deleted but I couldn't decide which one to leave in a nom. So, I put Die Another Day in the humor category and left Fields of Innocence in the Daniel character vid category. Although Die Another Day is pretty tongue in cheek and I laughed quite a bit while making it, I am sure the humor category isn't the greatest fit for that one. What do you think? I have until June 14th to complete my edits. Should I just delete one of them or leave them as I have placed them. And if I delete one, which one should I delete? They are two totally different Daniel vids but I love them both. Gah!

Don't delete them. Leave them as you placed them. Fields of Innocence should stay in the Daniel Character vid catergory and Die should stay in the humor catergory.

What catergory is From East to West?

Oh yes....and Karen is good. She asked me to tell you hello and that she is sorry she won't be with us in 29 days!

We need to get her a little something while we are there.

From East to West is a team vid that features the Stargate...LOL!
