Howdy doodly doo!

Okay, I am totally pathetic today! I have so much to do, yet, I have been on here just wasting time surfing desktops themes and userpics. It is amazing just how much time you can while away in this manner. I cannot wait till this semester is over!!

It has been ages since I have either posted or responded to entries. This is mostly due to last week being one mega busy week!! I had to play catchup after taking President's Day weekend off for the trip to MO. Sooooo, I had assignments to complete and reading to do. Mom had cataract surgery on Tuesday so I played doting, nursey daughter. Then, my sister had no babysitter for Abby so I babysat on Wednesday (Mom can't lift due to the surgery and Abby is a chunker!). I tried to read while she was napping but, otherwise, I didn't get any schoolwork accomplished because I am out of practice with babies and really do spend the entire time watching and playing...LOL. Then it was back to work for me.

I have managed to clean and do some laundry. I just about completely emptied my closets, getting rid of all the clothes that don't fit me anymore. Though losing weight is great, it has sure impacted my budget with having to buy new clothes and uniforms. I was good on jeans there for awhile because I had several different jean "fat levels" but now I need new ones. Of course, I cannot seem to find my absolute favorite jeans ANYWHERE. I actually spent a great deal of time searching the web for them. I suppose this means that I am going to have to go shopping for some new jeans in the near future. As much as I love to shop, I really hate trying on clothes, jeans in particular!!! (almost ranks right up there with bathing suits!!)

On the entertainment side of things, I am totally obsessed with Red Dwarf! Totally!!!

I hope you're getting caught up. Are you going to aerobics tonight? I wanted to go but Kevin has a meeting. Maybe next week!

I did go to aerobics. I really wish there was another class during the week I could attend. Last week I did nothing in terms of exercise due to a combination of time, being busy, and total lethargy when I had a few free moments.

The instructor also mentioned something about a 26K (Mile?) run/marathon that may potentially be held at LBL in October. I was thinking about joining up *snort*. (Don't I wish I could run that far.)

Love the new ICON. : ) I am goin to have to go cloth shopping soon. Spring is practically here. ; )

Well, I am nearing a clothing emergency! I wish spring WAS here. Yes, I spent an inordinate amount of time perusing Red Dwarf Icons....

LOL!!! I love that emergency ICON. : )

I would love to have more ICONS but the only way to do that is to a) have a paid account (not doing that) and b) Having advertising on my site (not doing that either).

So I guess I am stuck with the amount I have. I suppose I could have more saved and keep changing them but I am too lazy for that. ; )

I'm ashamed to say I forgot about your trip. I was wondering where you were though! As for playing with babies... Well, I don't want anymore but they are fun to fool with for a bit! I hope your mom is healing nicely.

Good luck with the school work!

Mom did very well. She put it off for years because she was afraid. My family asks me for advice all the time but, when I do have advice to give, they never listen to it! She never even had any pain.

Don't be ashamed about forgetting. You're not expected to keep up with me...LOL!

Hope your mom is feeling better - I have to say that anyone doing anything to my eyes scares the bejeebers out of me!

And I know what you mean about the shopping - I get so ticked off trying things on I just tend to buy armfuls of clothes in a variety of sizes and then return them over the next few weeks as I find they are totally horrid! Congrats on needing a new wardrobe tho!

Well, I happen to hate returning things about as much as I do trying them on.

Mom did great. I told her it was no big deal, really..at least not anymore. My Dad had surgery back in the olden days and told her many a horror story. I have had surgery on my eyes twice and it wasn't so bad. Parents! They never listen to you!!
