Well, I figure LJ is, at best, a reflection of life. Probably not a complete or balanced reflection, but a reflection nonetheless. And life certainly isn't always profound. Besides, I really DO enjoy just reading about the day-to-day trivialities of my friends. In some odd sort of way, it's almost like being with them for a while.
By the way, Glenda, did you ever get back to that debate with yourself? Personally, I think there is a connection between the soul and the mind. But then I think that all aspects of our being are connected. But that's probably about as "profound" as you're gonna get from me at 8:21 in the morning. ; )
