Well, I have always thought there was a connection. It seems that we are hard wired to believe that there is something greater than we are and that death isn't the end. But, I have never wanted to believe that simply because it made me feel better about the course of life.
As for the soul and the mind, I got to wondering that one day while watching a resident have a four person conversation in which she had all the speaking parts if you know what I mean. Where is her soul? Is it in limbo awaiting that day when it can be set free?
