What a fun meme this was. I have spent all the time I should have spent studying to complete it. Nicked from
Name your top six shows before reading /answering the questions.
1.Stargate SG-1
2. Torchwood
3. Heroes
4. Stargate Atlantis
5. Red Dwarf
6. Lost
1. Who is your favorite character from #2? (Torchwood)
Hummm....very difficult as originally it was Captain Jack but throughout the last few eps, Owen is certainly gaining on the dear Captain.
2. Who is your least favorite character from #4? (Stargate Atlantis)
Botany girl, Katie...I think that is her name. I don't know why she annoys me and I never bought the relationship between her and McKay.
3. What would a crossover between #1 and #5 include? (Stargate SG-1, Red Dwarf)
::snort:: Well, Lister, Rimmer, Kryten, and Cat are having a party on some planetoid when they lose the Cat. When they finally find him, he is preening in front of this enormous, antique mirror. Cat suspects the others want to take his newest shiny thing and tries to grab the mirror just as the others grab onto Cat. Suddenly, they aren't in Kansas anymore, though with all the military gray sported on the walls, they believe themselves to be onboard Red Dwarf. Lister and Cat become hungry within minutes and begin wandering the corridors and right into the middle of a peace treaty between the Tauri and the Goauld that is being mediated by Thor. Rimmer is ecstatic as he has finally come into contact with aliens. His glee turns to desponency when he realizes that none of them even have breasts, let alone six breasts. Thor meets Lister and begins to reconsider this whole Fifth Race thing. Hammond and Kryten spend time comparing their bald head shapes and it is determined that Kryten really does have a "novelty condom head" after all. SG-1 and the boys from the Dwarf hit it off famously. Jack and Lister discuss their favorite sports heroes. Sam and Daniel are amazed that a race of beings evolved from a Cat. Cat is torn between his fascination for Carter's female form and the squiggling blue jello. Teal'c, seeing this, recommends a night out on the town watching females do battle in a ring of jello. Lister wonders if they will have beer milkshakes. In a freak twist, Daniel runs by his office to lock up the mysterious artifact he was working on and Death comes to claim him yet again. However, Daniel, taking his cue from Rimmer, knees the Grim Reaper in the groin and joins the rest of the gang. Death, once he recovers, decides to just give up on claiming Daniel Jackson. It is business as usual at the SGC, though, for the first time ever, Walter gets a message while attempting to dial out stating, "This is a recording. I'm afraid Holly is busy at the moment. If you'd like to leave a message after the bleep, he'll get back to you. Bleep."
4. Who is your favorite ship from #6? (Lost)
This is a toughie. It used to be that my desire to see Kate and Jack together won out over my desire to see Kate and Sawyer together and then Juliette came along and muddied the waters. It is difficult since everyone seems have this unknown quality about them. I have always wanted to see Hurley hook up and was disappointed that Michael killed Libby as I thought there was potential there. Desmond's love for Penny has an epic feel but it is hard when you rarely see Penny in the here and now.
5. If you were to set one person from #3 and one person from #6 on a blind date, who would they be? (Heroes, Lost)
The total awwwww factor makes me go for Hiro and Claire
6. If you could meet one person from #4 and spend the day with them, who would it be, and what would you do? (Stargate Atlantis)
This isn't too difficult for me. Based on sheer fun factor, I do believe that I would have to go with John Sheppard as who wouldn't want to fly a puddle jumper through the Stargate.
7. If you could change one thing about #2's plot line, what would you change? (Torchwood)
Well, this is a strange one, really. Even though the whole arc has brought about some of the best episodes, I'd really prefer Owen not be dead. That whole being unable to heal thing could really alter the life span of the character.
8. Explain a relationship between two people (not necessarily romantic) from show #5, and why you like the relationship between them? (Red Dwarf)
LOL, I have always rather enjoyed the love-hate relationship between Lister and Rimmer.
9. If the lead title characters (first name in the credit sequence) from #1 and #3 were both drowning, and you could only save one, who would it be? (Stargate, Heroes)
Well, I certainly don't know who the lead title characters are in Heroes and with SG-1, doesn't that depend on which season it is? Now, if Hiro or Peter were first in the title sequence, I still wouldn't pick them because each of them can use their powers to get out of their mess. So, I'd choose Jack, or Cam, depending on which season we are drowning in. ;-)
10. If you could change the title characters' order in the credits for #4? (Stargate Atlantis)
This really isn't something I pay a great deal of attention to, really. I couldn't actually say what the order was. Isn't Sheppard first?
11. If you were able to add a new character, any kind of character you wanted, to the storyline for #6, what would the character be? (Lost)
Humm...I think I mentioned a Hurley love interest. I would have set him up on that blind date in question 5 but Heroes has quite a few way too scary females.
12. What happens in your favorite episode of show #2? (Torchwood)
"A Day in the Death" I loved this episode, really, and it is currently a fave. (You all know how I have problems picking faves.) Owen is on a rooftop, talking with a suicidal girl about his current predicament of being dead. At this point, Jack has been limiting his participation with the team and Owen just wants to keep busy so that he can at least have an appearance of normalcy and as a means to not face the reality of his life (or death) as it is now. I loved how all the themes of life and death are entwined within the different story elements. The man who believes the alien device is keeping him alive and has gone to great lengths to remain among the living versus the girl who wants to end it all; Jack, who cannot die versus Owen, who is living death.
13. If you could kill off one of the characters in #1, who would it be and how would you do it? (SG-1)
Humm..how difficult it is to choose a character in a ten season show. Do they mean a main character? Picking an uninteresting villain and/or a little known villain is too easy a choice. SG-1 has had its share of interesting villains that you don't want to really see go. I may have to think about this one.
14. If you got the chance to visit the set for either show #3 or show #5, which would you choose? (Heroes, Red Dwarf)
Why Red Dwarf, naturally. Similar to Rosiewook's answer, it appeals to my geeky nature.

And I'm with you about Owen. Although I must say that I'm actually starting to like his character, now that he's gone through death. He just annoyed me, before.
But this is sci-fi. Surely they'll come across yet another alien device that will bring him back to life, at some point. :)

I always liked his character, though he did irritate me much of the time. But, he is different now. Better.(at least for the moment) And while he was interesting before, he is even more interesting now.

And ditto for A Day in the Death. Funny how Owen is more human now that he's dead.

I would but I think the reason I don't really write fanfic or even in general is because I could never do dialogue.
Funny how Owen is more human now that he's dead.
Isn't it though? Off the subject a bit but the last episode was really creepy. Plus, the video thing made me think of The Ring. Yep, really creepy.
