Whiney mutterings. Ignore if you like...

I have calculated that, thus far, I have submitted 153 typed pages over the course of this semester. Not every one of them were double spaced either and the total doesn't include early discussion board postings before I decided, because of wonky formatting, that it would be better to upload an attachement to the board. And I'm not done. This instructor has so much she wants us to do that she has doubled the assignments during the last two weeks. Isn't she lovely? I have worked hard and studied hard for all of my courses but never have I been this miserable or over extended! I have been told the same instructor "teaches" Adult Health which has an accompanying 240hrs of clinical. (Any real and actual teaching is highly debatable as she has no time for feedback. I think this is largely due to her having other classes so she barely has time to even read all of this crap she has assigned much less provide feedback.)  It doesn't take a rocket scientist or even someone marginally good at math to guage my future success in that class when I work full time, will spend 20 hours a week in clinical, and will need 20-40 hours to complete all of the reading and assignments for both class and clinical.

Sigh. ROLL ON MAY!!!

I did take an hour out today for a massage... Wonderful!

G, I do hope you will have time to breathe while I'm there. And I hope we won't be too much of a distraction to getting your work completed on time. The whole trip is starting to feel very real and I look forward to some down time of just being silly. Talking about your Haiti experience and of course exposing you to Rome and the loveliness that is KMK as Lucius. My luck you'll fall in love with Pullo. Though Ray Stevenson ain't half bad on the eyes either.

Oh, I intend to have the bulk of the work completed and if not, oh well. What is really annoying is that all these grand writing masterpieces are only worth about 1.33 points. 1.33!!!! So, I intend to do what I can before you get here and if I don't get it all done, I'm not going to worry too much about it.

Egads, that's a lot of writing. I don't see how she could be keeping up with reading/grading, even with one class. So yeah, I think your idea of not worrying about it too awfully much is good. Have you been able to walk some in this nice weather?

It has been hit and miss, depending on what I am doing on what day and whether I can afford the break. This week has been a no go but last week was OK. However, there has been no week where I have been able to go as much as I want to. I am going to be playing some serious catch up come May! LOL

Yes, and I am extremely irritated at the present time because I submitted the case study draft almost two weeks ago and still have received no feedback. It is due tomorrow!! I emailed her at the end of the week. She is the one who stated that we could submit a draft and she would make suggestions. I certainly won't have the time to make any corrections tomorrow! Gah!
