Fantabulous!

Well, it is certainly a good thing that the finale of BG didn't air last week with the rest of them! I am not sure I could have withstood it. ROLL ON JULY.
This was such an intense episode! Yay, Lee, for following his instincts! I really loved him in this ep. The crash onto Kobol was so vivid, so tangibly real that my heart was in my throat. And, I loved the fight scene between Six and Kara on Caprica. Catfight, anyone? I think it was a given that Boomer, can't remember her name at the moment...Sheryl?, is pregnant but what does that mean? Is it "God's plan" for there to be this human/cylon hybrid? (getting a flashback to V on that one!). Could God be angry because Humans were playing god by creating cylons in the first place. I think it is interesting that the Cylon, monotheistic religion varies from the Colonies pantheon of gods. Where did this come from since the humans of the colonies created the Cylons and what does this say about the seemingly inherent need for sentient beings to believe in a higher power while, at the same time, allowing for rejection of that belief. What a conundrum!
Sometimes, I can't get past this feeling that the Cylons are actually "being cruel to be kind". But, just when I think that has to be it, they do something that has me heading down another thought tangent. Just when I think that, perhaps, the Cylons have their own free will and aren't simply the sum of their programming (Boomer blowing the basestar after having learned the truth) they go and do something to contradict that (Boomer shooting Adama!!!). And boy was that unexpected!!! Bamber gave quite the performance there! However, if they turn that into some vision sequence ala Dallas, I am going to be mad.
