GASP!

I just finished watching 403 and The WHOLE TIME my heart is pounding. And I'm thinking, are they really going to do this!?! They are really doing this!!!! And the whole thing just slayed me. I CAN'T EVEN!!!

And, OMG, where are they going from here? I'm feeling pretty incoherent right about now. It's been awhile since a show reduced me to gasping!

Oh, my heart!!!! Methinks I need a beta blocker RIGHT THE HECK NOW!!!!!

Yes, apparently they are really going to do this. I was amazed that they'd actually followed through. Loved the reason why Merlin can't reveal himself this time. Loved it.

Even after a night's sleep I am still incoherent flaily. I was going to watch it again last night but I didn't think my heart could stand it.

And, yes, I do love this new reason that Merlin cannot reveal himself even if my heart broke for him. And Arthur. I have to say that Colin and Bradley nailed everything in this episode. Gah, I felt so bad for Arthur sitting in the floor with his mortally wounded father. And I kept thinking, he can't lose a parent on his birthday. Not again. (Though that may not really be the case where Ygraine is concerned...it's just my head canon.) And Uther! His character arc for me has gone from, can we kill him already (in the beginning) to, he JUST CAN'T die now! AH nailed his performance, too. And a glimmer of Conflicted! Morgana.

It's too much.

I usually watch shows by myself and usually that doesn't bother me but last night I really, really wanted more than anything to be watching this episode with another fan. Especially by the end where I'm gaping, "what? WHAT!?!"

Ain't it the TRUTH!?! The whole thing was just pitch perfect and, yet, I'm so busy feeling feelings that I don't know what to say, first. I'd love to watch it again today but I have no time.
