Okay, Supernatural is making me feel ALL the feelings and I'm late on my Big Fat Geek TV post of the week(s). (Mainly because I'm behind on The Shows as work has been totally kicking my butt)

But, I'm not behind on SPN, that's for sure! And when I'm not working and whatnot, I'm thinking about Sam and Dean. (IKR?!?)

Of course, when I'm feeling all the feelings, I sometimes get the urge to surf fanvids. (Since I'm not making them myself, anymore) It's full on angst, people! Gosh, I love it.

And I happened upon this AMAZING vid to this amazing song! It's spoilery for season 1-4 (so, [livejournal.com profile] de23, I'd avoid if I were you. But you can listen cause it's a really great song..LOL. I'm tagging all my vid posts, though. If you have already begun to ponder Sam and Dean while you are doing laundry or driving, I suspect you'll be trolling for fanvids before you know it. [livejournal.com profile] dombede I don't know where you are  in the watch but I don't think you'd be much interested in fangirly angst, anyway)

And if you pretty much know you are never going to watch this show (which I think is just plain crazycakes of you, but, whatever ;) or if you don't care about being spoiled, play it for the great song! I'm sure it is cross fandom applicable.

You're welcome! I've been wanting to know your thoughts.

The boys are killing me in the usual hurty goodness way they have. And the song just fits, you know.

That's an awesome song ... and I've heard several versions. My favorite was used on the season finale of "Warehouse 13" and it killed me. This video kills me ... I so love my boys and these were such emotional seasons. I kinda miss the boys from the early seasons in some ways, although I'll always love them no matter what. But yeah, awesome video and thanks for rec'ing!

Hello, new friend I should have discovered ages ago. The Boys are so young here but this was that final step before everything changes. This is where the kid gloves come off and that journey of hurt begins.

(((((((((((Sam and Dean)))))))))))))

Believe it or not, I started watching some of s1 the other day. I discovered this show in march and I've not gone a week without watching, yet.

Glenda, I'm sticking to it! I'm actually loving it! I just saw the episode with the priest-ghost who thinks he is an angel. I think I'm a full fledged fan! I've become a Netflicks junkie. I don't know how this happened to me, and I really don't have time for it. Vase retro satanae!

Hooray! That was really a great episode and quite thinkie, I think. Makes me wanna rewatch.

Yeah, I mainline Netflix now and again. (Glee seems to have been a recent binge) But I think I'm pretty specific when I do, that is, I just don't watch anything and everything. So, maybe it all evens out.

Vase retro satanae!

Hey, does that mean, "get thee behind me, Satan?"

Classic. I'm watching ep. 15 Tall Tales. The ethics prof asks the girl in his office how her Ansombe paper is going: http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/G._E._M._Anscombe#section_1

Elisabeth Anscombe is the one who defeated CS Lewis in that famous debate before his conversion. She directed Fr Abbot's D.Phil at Oxford. I met her once and her daughter who is a Dominican nun is teaching Br Maximilian at Blackfriars. I met her two Sundays ago!

In addition to having someone who writes for SNR who knows Latin, they also have somebody who is pretty up on his/her modern philosophy! Brilliant.

See, I'd have never caught that and i enjoy your tale if irony.

They referenced something in an episode this week and I'm, like, boy, SPN is scraping the bottom of the barrel with that one. How'd they even come up with that name. Then I went online and googled it and, whaddaya know, it is for real and actually has some bearing on the mythology of the show.
