Seriously? A Masterpost?
Nov. 18th, 2012 09:23 amA Masterpost seems pretty superfluous at this point, but, LJ has been my go to place to yammer on about The Shows, TV boyfriends, and the mundane day to day drivel. (Oh my gosh, I've been on here since 11/16/2004!) I have taken the time to upload my old Stargate videos to youtube and I needed a place to link them. Though I wrangled quite a bit out of movie maker, these were made way before the days of HD and Sony Vegas. But, they were fun and I was feeling nostalgic.
Fields of Innocence Daniel-centric, Addresses the Daniel/Share arc. I have several vids that were made earlier than this one but the source material is way to crappy to even consider uploading them. So, this was an earlier one that I revamped a bit with somewhat better clips.
Let's Get it Started Team vid. Someone made the comment on a video forum that they didn't feel that hip-hop was good for Stargate vidding. So, a challenge was issued and there was a contest. This vid came in third. It is one of my favorites even though it was the hardest video I ever tried to make because Movie Maker crashed continuously.
Modern Crusaders Season 9 team vid. Also addresses the Ori arc a wee bit. I really like it for some reason even though a few of my clips are a bit dicey.
Die Another Day: This vid came about from a comment MS made at a con, "Just how many times has Daniel died, anyway." And here it is, in video format. Of course, I am sure that Daniel bought it a few more times after this video was made ;) Plus, it has one of my most favorite bits of editing, ever. I feel a bit of glee every time I watch it. Can you guess?
From East to West: This vid was made to feature the best prop ever, the Stargate itself! I'm not sure how successful I was in that endeavor. My favorite parts are at the beginning.
Behind Blue Eyes: This is my one and only attempt to make an episodic vid. It highlights the episode, Absolute Power. It also is the first and only time I ever got to use Pinnacle. What was fun is that my friend,
This is your Life: My idea here was to address Amnesia! Daniel. I liked some of what I did here and the idea behind it. However, I feel that my editing dragged a bit in places or the clips just didn't work out quite the way I had hoped.
Ice: Addresses the whole Daniel/Sarah/Osiris arc.
