See now I tried this over and over and just could never get into it - I liked the guy with the electrocuted hair and there was some good humour but it was just too political for my limited attention span . . .
I have never been one for the whole political angle but this series interweaves the political aspects with the action/characters/mystery in such a way I don't feel bombarded by politics. I think it is very well written...maybe even (gasp) more consistently well written than Gate. Then again, if I was having to watch it week to week and over seasons, I might have had a more difficult time. Watching it in the spoiled-by-DVD way does make a difference. It really is like one continuous story. I have to say that JMS is a terrific writer!
I watched about 3 seasons worth borrowed from work (old Blockbuster video job!) and i guess it just wasnt me . . . glad to hear that you are enjoying tho . . .
