Well, I haven't had the chance to watch BSG yet so, technically, I am not up to date but thought I would have a quick little update.
Sg-1:
Thought this was a good follow up to Avalon (you know how two parters are..one is really, really good and the other stinks.) I did think that they solved the puzzles a bit too easily but I guess that whole advancement of plot thing needed to be done ;-) Enjoyed Mitchell's go with the Knight (but which Knight was this...the Green Knight; the Black Knight. I have never heard of the Glowy Hologram Knight..LOL!) I enjoyed Mitchell's flashback although it seemed a bit superfluous at this point. Teal'c was great and I am curious, for once, as to where the Jaffa storyline is going. Most of the time I can take or leave the Jaffa storylines but when they are good, they are really good. I also cannot believe how much I am enjoying the Daniel/Vala dynamic! I love it and am actually quite surprised that I do. Yes, I enjoyed Prometheus Unbound but I had reservations going in in that I didn't really want to see episode after episode of that type of shenanigan. Thankfully, Vala isn't as one dimensional as I had feared. My only Daniel complaint is that he is still talking too fast and I can't find the closed captioning on my TV! Ah well, good enough excuse to watch again. Snort!!!
Atlantis:
I liked how they did the Earth flashbacks and I am enjoying the dynamic between Sheppard/Weir/McKay. These three are the strenth behind this show. However, I can see Pileggi's character gaining strength as the season progresses. Okay, now I just really love Hermiod's constant muttering under his breath in the Asgard tongue. I sure like seeing a quirky Asgard. However, for all my enjoyment of character interaction, the story was rather lacking.

If everyone liked what I liked there would be hardly anything except sci-fi on TV and reality TV would be banned. *snicker* But, life might get a bit dull if we were all the same and I would have never had one of my favorite quotes of all time. You know, the one about reality TV being one of the four horsemen of the Apocalypse. And, I still have yet to watch Galactica. Worked at the hospital yesterday so my weekend was basically shot as far as entertainment goes...LOL! Well, except for being entertained by some of the folks I see in the ER. It really does take all kinds!!!
