Great googlie mooglie, it was a wild weekend! The full moon is so very beautiful when I don't have to work. When I am working, I can see that man in the moon laughing at me. Combine that with Mars soon to be in opposition and it's a recipe for disaster! At least this is what I told everyone. I knew we were doomed! I think "it's a recipe for disaster" is my new catch phrase..LOL!

I have never seen the likes of what happened Saturday night. A disaster drill had nothing on this! The ER was a complete train wreck. We managed to air evac three people and ship two by ground (man I sound like the postal service, huh?) as well as admit two...in the span of 6 hours! We had stretchers everywhere and I don't actually know where we managed  to find all the extra stretchers. I think OR recovery and endoscopy. The place was decimated by the time we were done...blood and instruments were strewn everywhere. I had so much adrenalin coursing through my system that when I went to chart on a patient, my hands were actually shaking..LOL. I thought, who is going to be able to read this!?! We called a few more nurses in and, still, we were running around like chickens without heads! Very lively!

In entertainment news, I started watching Firefly. I have watched the first two episodes and have already decided that this is a really good show! I can already tell that these characters are going to grow on me! I also received another Farscape DVD in the mail. Add that to Season eight and, as decisions go, it's a recipe for disaster! LOL! What to watch, what to watch???

Holy smokes woman, busy busy busy! People scoff at all that full moon and celestrial alignment stuff, personally I think it has alot of merit. Seems like your weekend was the proof.

Yay on Firefly! You can join Sonia and I in our Serenity silliness in no time. Fabulous series, people don't know what they missed by tuning it out. I heard the movie will hit dvd on Dec 20.

I know what I'm getting for Xmas!

Nope, I am a firm believer in that whole full moon stuff...and so is everyone else I work with..LOL!

I decided on Farscape. Man, that show just gets better and better!!!

Firefly is a great series. All the characters are so different. I find BOOK and JAYNE interest me the most. FOX was SOOOOO stupid to cancel it. I just love the movie. I hoping to go see it again soon.

Well, I have honed in on a character as of yet. They all interest me at this point...LOL! Yeah, I never even heard of it till it was cancelled (I think?). Maybe they should have plugged it a bit more, perhaps. It definitely beats a lot of dreck out there!

Yay on Firefly too. Are you watching them in order? Fox showed them out of order (DUH!) so I saw them all higgedly-piggley. (kind of ruined the suspense of what was in the box in the pilot)

Hummmm...I am watching them in the order that sci-fi is airing them. I do think I missed one on the recording because of Brandon, but, if they are repeating them at this time, I should catch it this go-round.
