There have been some really great meme's floating about. Lately, I am all about the memes Here is one from [livejournal.com profile] scarym1

If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, even if we don't speak often, please post a comment with a memory of you and me. It can be anything you want--good or bad. Or even how we met (in person and/or online).

When you're finished, post this little paragraph on your blog and be surprised (or mortified) about what people remember about you.

Come on - you know you want to. ; )

Oh, so many memories . . .

I remember your kick-ass routine for flag tryouts. Was it choreographed to a song from the Dune soundtrack? Something really techno sounding. (Mine was to an A-ha song!)

You were fierce!

You've always been that way, and it's what I so admire about you!

LOL...yes, it was to a song from the Dune soundtrack. Great memory you have there! Of course, I was rather obsessed with Dune and Kyle Maclachlan at the time....(and so it began....one obsession of many wonderful obessesion's to come.)

But, why were we trying out again? Weren't there, like, 6 of us? ROFL!

Ah the Scream Queens! I didn't think I would ever hear correctly again ;) This one ties with the memory of you at the last Gatecon. Remember standing in line and the little bitches that gave us such grief? Your "They're so not gellin'" still makes me smile.

Oh yes...I remember those gals, and my near altercation, though I had forgotten that line! LOL! They obviously weren't having the good time we were having, that's for sure!

And, I would imagine that being surrounded by a group of gals screaming and near swooning in jubilation would have a huge effect on a person ;-)

The first time I met you in person: You entered a darkened room at approx 10pm, gave me a kiss and said "i've got to go and pee!"

The next day you were a good sport and followed me arounf Van looking for a muesuem that i wanted to see. And when we found it,it had moved!

What I remember most is seeing you at Gatecon the first time Sonia and I went. I hadn't seen you in years, but it felt absolutely comfortable and natural seeing you and talking to you. It was as if we hadn't been apart at all. ; )

Oh, there are so many! Watching X-Files with you and Steve on Friday nights. Talking to you on the phone from DJ's hospital room about weird things people say. And of course, "cornmeal!"

Watching X-Files with you and Steve on Friday nights.

LOL, that was a great time. Do you remember how Steve would be sitting on the floor but would always turn around to see our reaction at some pivotal part as if to say, "did you guys catch that?"

As for "Cornmeal", are you referring to the nickname Thomas Toole gave me in the seventh grade because of a yellow shirt I had. Or is this another cornmeal reference I can't remember? ;-)

Funny how those Friday nights stand out. I also remember Steve teaching Branman about Local on the 8's on the Weather Channel. And B running around saying "tea!" And you always making taco salads because you didn't have to pack Steve's lunch for the next day.

And yes, that's the cornmeal I was referring to. It still seemed funny after all this time.

LOL....I really like this Meme as I didn't remember Steve teaching Brandon about the weather channel! ROFL!! I think The Weather Channel was Steve's favorite station and his dream vacation was to be a storm chaser for a week.

Those Friday nights were always something to look forward to!

hmmmm . . . has to be the screaming and squealing and giggling in that hotel room with K and Belib and ScaryM . . . and the horror at the man boobies ;-)

Hummmm....seems like several memories involve squeeing. I wonder why that is ;-)

Man boobies....teeheehee.

I have no idea if this just posted, so I'll try again.

I remember the night at the Dec. 2nd when I was showing off my recent surgery "wounds" and singing Christmas songs. I kept being concerned that I was coming off "flat" with the tune. You just kept laughing at me. I'm not sure if this is a memory about me or you. Anyway, then there's also the time that we were trying to figure out the opening line..."Saturday night and I'm still hanging around ..." I think that's how it goes.

Why was that line so hard to figure out? Could it have been our drunken states? I do remember the "unveiling" as it were and the singing off key.

As for memories of you, you will be forever associated with the word, "Bucket".
