Yesterday

I am talkative this week. I believe I have updated several times which is some sort of record for me. I think I usually feel that my mundane activities are just that...too mundane to write about and certainly too mundane for anyone to read about.LOL! 

Brandon and I had a fun day yesterday. He was quite talkative as well and we chatted pretty much the entire day. The furniture store delivered his new bed and then we were off to find new bedding to go with it. You Apple Hill crowd will know what sort of comforter he was going for! I think he would have dragged that thing home with him regardless of it's pink color. But, in the end, we couldn't find a comforter like that in a more masculine color. So, we opted instead for a down comforter (on sale) and a red duvet cover (also on sale). I certainly didn't want to spend a fortune on bedding and we managed to remain in the budget I set forth. After that task was completed, we were off to ride Go-Carts. Always a fun thing but we didn't get to ride as long as we wanted due to the cost for each ride, which I thought was way too expensive. We indulged in a round of air hockey (I won) and then a couple of those video racing games (he won) afterwards. We then went over to the mall for a bit where he managed to finagle a t-shirt from Pac Sun out of me. Good thing I have a job! ;-) I did manage to avoid a Honey latte from Borders though I sorely wanted one! After a dinner at Longhorn and a quick stop at Kroger, we were headed home. On the way home we stopped by to see baby Abby. I don't know what they are planning on calling her but I have already taken to calling her Abby instead of Abigail...LOL!

I am back to work tonight but perhaps the Friday-night-back-to-work depression won't be as profound with my schedule change.

Good luck to de23 this weekend on her Adventure race!! I can't wait to hear all the details even if  I always feel like a lazy slug after reading....LOL!

scarym1, are we going to move our chats to Monday? I think we discussed this but, naturally, I forgot. ruralstar, you were off gallivanting around in Florida when we discussed this.

Come to find out, I think I did get Dr. Who from Friday and the week before last as well. I think I might have only missed the first one. Didn't it run longer or something? So, I am recording. I think. I am going to go through all the DVR stuff today as I am sure I have so much that I have taped but not watched that I am running out of space!

I don't think I could do Monday nights, at least not after 9. Hubs and I are 24 addicts :)

Time goes by so fast. Can't believe it was a week ago already that I was down in Florida with K *sniff*

Yes, I know it is only a short matter of time before he doesn't want to be around me! LOL. Hummm. What night would be good? K called me last evening to make sure we weren't blown away. We had a good chat and she talked about the great time you guys had!

Tuesdays are NCIS nights. When Karen gets her ocmputer sorted or a new one, whichever, she and I will both be busy. Thursday work the best, again if you are home that night. Question is will Mary be home?

I've got some friday nights off coming up this month. I dont know about Mondays off hand. Any chance of still meeting sometimes on a friday??

It is great to hear about you and Brandon hanging out and shopping together. Those pics you sent of Abby are cute.

Monday is good until Atlantis premieres in July then I will watching that. ; ) But until then we have 4 months. : )

I'm hooked on furniture shopping (well day-dreaming and catalogue flicking) and clearing out and re-arranging - I have been told that re-arranging furniture brings good luck so I should be in for a windfall soon ;-)

I love to rearrange though, sadly, my current furniture configuration is the best configuration so I don't get too many opportunities to move the furniture around. So, does that mean I am in for bad luck?..(oops, now I have a Hee Haw tune floating around in my head...."gloom, despair, and agony on me. Deep Dark Depression. Excessive Misery. If it weren't for bad luck I'd have no luck a'tall. Gloom, Despair, and agony on me." ROFL!!!)
