That is me today! Oh, sure, I have been up since 5:30am (when they tried to call me in to work) and I have done some laundry and picked up around the house but I have absolutely no desire to set foot outside my door. 'Tis a shame too since it is a beautiful day. I was a very good girl yesterday what with running about, exercising, and just generally being on top of things but it's all over "but the cryin' " today. Maybe later I will get it in gear.

Today is the last day of school and Brandon is having a friend over. I'll probably take the lazy way out there too by letting them have takeout for dinner. I think tomorrow we'll take in a movie since the pool isn't open yet (and it's too cool to swim.)

scarym1 and I were having a nice chat the other day and I mentioned that I had been thinking about doing an Absolute Power episodic vid to the song, Behind Blue Eyes. In a great moment of complete weirdness, scarym1 had already started a vid with the exact details mentioned above. What can I say, "Great minds" indeed!! In any case, I may have beaten her to the punch cause mine is done. (We decided to have our own little vid challenge) I did the whole thing in Pinnacle just to say I did it and that I didn't run to the familiar Movie Maker though I still think a combination of the two programs would be absolutely perfect! Anyway, if you are so interested, check it out.

I tried to create my own mood set/theme but couldn't get the upload to work. Any suggestions from you folks who have your own mood themes? I wonder what I am doing wrong?

OMG!! How can you be done already????? : ) I am not going to watch it yet.

I was going to do some work on it last night but we had a big thunder storm. I thought the safe thing to do would be to turn off my computer for the evening.

I probably won't get it finished until next week. I am working 6 days in a row so I might be too tired and sore to get any work done. ; )

LOL. I don't know...maybe because it is only one episode and, although episodic vids can be difficult, the one easy thing about them is you don't have 9 seasons worth of clips to think about and wade through. Makes the decision making easier. But, it also makes it more difficult to avoid the talking heads phenomenon(phenomena?..I can never get that straight.)Plus, you start to feel that you are running out of clips!

It seemed a bit slow to me but I think that is because I have been doing fast paced songs for some time and this song is really slow.

And, I totally understand your not watching. If the situations were reversed I wouldn't watch yours...well, that should be I shouldn't. You know me. I might not be able to hold out!!

Gah, is there no end to these blue eyed men in such turmoil!! Such angst!!! Such Despair. Ah, that's why we love them. Actually, I saw a Daniel vid to this song once before but, what the heck, I have been wanting to do it for awhile and I figured an episodic would be a good way to get my feet wet with Pinnacle. The verdict. There is much to love with this program except editing is more difficult. It ripple edits in such a way that, if you already have clips after the clip you are editing and, say, you want to add a transition, it doesn't increase the length of the vid, rather it automatically trims the clip making it very difficult to get the clips right where you want them. But, I do love the ability to alter the color/hue/saturation of a clip and that 2D editor was fun. Like I said, I need both!

Ah but we do love our blue eyed boys and their angst. I'm kind of fond of a certain brown eyed fellow too. *grins*

I have Pinnacle but my poor old comp just couldn't handle the program. I really like what you did editing wise. Very well timed too. I'm glad you figured out the trick. The song is very appropriate to the episode ;)

Woo-hoo! I love my new laptop and connection! I actually got to watch your vid! Very nice. I liked the transitions and "punches" timed with the music just so. And the Jack flower moment. ;-)
