Alas, I am never Brilliant. Brilliantly Lazy perhaps, (in that I can find the most creative ways to be lazy and procrastinate and then manage to rationalize the whole thing.)
I do have some mixed feelings about the want part but that is my lazy, cheapo self talking. I actually need to do it more than I want to. I have several coworkers who are getting on up there. One of them is 70 years old!! I can see myself in a few years, being expected to run up and down the halls or in the ER as though I were 25.
Not wanting to be standing around behind a cash register when I am OLDER was one of the factors (that and the crappy pay) why I decided to go back to school.
I know you will do great.
If you ever need any encouragement or a kick in the butt ;) ; ) in regards to your self discipline, I and I am sure everyone else will be there for you. : ) : )
Woo-hoo! Major congrats! And it's normal to be apprehensive about starting back to school. But trust me, it is, at least in some ways, like riding a bike - those old skills and methods do come back to you.
