I haven't done a real update in it seems forever. Actually, I had an entry last week but lost it and LJ did not autosave for some reason. Actually, I don't think that feature is working for me. In any case, I have been extremely busy with schoolwork as I am currently buried in research papers at the present time. Those are in addition to my usual weekly assignments and exams. I am actually a bit behind but since I took this weekend off for Brandon's b-day, I hope to play catch up. We haven't done b-day parties for a couple of years. I tell him he can have three friends over (the amount that will fit in my vehicle) and we will do whatever they want to do. This year, I have suggested going to a haunted house. Steve and I used to love going to those every year and I haven't been to one in ages. I figured it would be right up four preteen boys' alley!

I am still waiting to see whether the new schedule is approved in writing. Seems that the CEO had verbal confirmation to adding two RN's to the current schedule but it hasn't been received in writing. Corporations always move at the speed of snail.... I am hoping it will go into effect before I am scheduled to go back. We'll see. You'd think they would be moving on it before they lose a potential new hire. (Since RN's are so hard to come by these days)  I'm already there but this other person might not have the luxury of waiting.

I haven't had too much time for TV though I have been continuing with Dr. Who, Alias, and Lost. Season two of Lost didn't lose me like it did some folks on my f-list. I do think it suffered on occasion from too many flashbacks. We have reached the point where what is going on on the island is more interesting than the previous lives of the folks on the island. There are exceptions as I thought the previous life of Mr. Echo was captivating. I am glad Anna Lucia is gone as I never really developed any care or interest in her character. And just what is up with the Others? They become more interesting as time progresses.  I can't wait to find out. I did catch the season premiere of BSG but haven't yet watched beyond that. How can an episode that I felt was rather plodding still leave me so anxious?  Seems a rather contradictory response.

Thanks so much for stopping in on my own lj. I can't imagine how you found the time. Good luck with the new schedule and very cool idea about the haunted house. I'll be curious to hear how it goes.

I may start only taking one class a semester from now on. Sure, it will take me over three years to finish that way but it's not like I am in any big hurry.....

I think if I can just get through the next couple of weeks, it will slow down a bit. (wishful thinking).
