Of course, I'm not sure I know how to strike out an entry. I also haven't figured out how to do that link thing .
That movie meme
1. Pick one dozen movies that are ones that you have special feelings about.
2. Pick a few lines of dialogue that mean something to you.
3. As people guess the film, strike out that entry.
4. If possible, after the film is guessed, explain why that movie made the list.
1.) When I stepped out into the bright sunlight from the darkness of the movie house, I only had two things on my mind. Paul Newman and a ride home.
2.) Jacobs, what has been happening up till now? Jacobs: Well, first the earth cooled and then the dinosaurs came but they got too big and fat so they all died. Then the Arabs came and they drove Mercedes Benzes and then Prince Charles started wearing all of Lady Di's clothes. He took her best dress out of the closet and put it on........
3.) Hello, my name is Inigo Montoya, you killed my father. Prepare to die!
4.) I must not fear. Fear is the mind killer. Fear is the little death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me and when it is gone only I will remain.
5.) Hey, Eddie, can I get you something? Something to eat? Some Eggnog? Take you out in the middle of nowhere and leave you for dead?
6.) You can't expect to wield supreme executive power because some watery tart threw a sword at you!
7.) A lady always knows when to leave.
8.) You'll find that a great many truths that we hold dear depend upon our point of view. (well, the gist...may not be entirely accurate. Hey, I'm doing this from memory...LOL)
9.) Remember, all I am offering is the truth. Nothing more.
10.) Wait for me!
11.) Let's get out of here before one of those things kills Guy.
