An After Christmas Slug-fest

Here is sit on the couch with the computer, drinking coffee, and relishing in the idea that I plan on being a slug ALL DAY. I slept later than usual because I stayed up really late watching THE LOST ROOM. I had only planned on watching one installment of the mini series but once I got started I couldn't "put it down". Despite my irritation with sci-fi's antics, I am usually pleased with the mini series fare. I thought this was one of the best yet and wonder if it is going to be continued in some way. I think I also have a food hangover from yesterday. Is it possible to make up for three months of dieting in one day? I do believe that I certainly tried yesterday! (I will not feel guilt, I will not feel guilt). Anytime I don't do what I am supposed to, I wonder if I am about to slide down the path of self destruction once again. 

I did plan a bit of exercise but what happened to the sun? I thought we were supposed to see it today. 

Tomorrow, I suppose it is back to running around again. Brandon got a gift card and wants to go to the mall and I got a Borders coupon as well. Plus, it is time for another trip to the grocery store. Yep, I am going to enjoy this day.....

I was rather slug-like all morning and have now managed a bit of laundry and pick up around here. The kids and I just finished watching "Over the Hedge". Their 'Santa' gift this year. Tis nice to relax. Way to go on finding the time to rip the episodes you've been talking about and I'm glad you enjoyed The Lost Room. I was curious about that movie and the reviews were very mixed-as usual.

We have ALOT of food left and more gotten from different sources in the last few days. Looks like a light shopping this week and i'm very glad as money is tight.

I'm looking forward to visiting Walmart. I won $20.00 on the scratch ticket mom gave me and I have the gift certificate to spend as do hubs and the girls. Hopefully when he's up to par we'll be off for a bit of shopping fun. Enjoy the mall with B!

Cool on the gift cards. It is always nice to spend gift cards because there is no guilt when you spend money on yourself.
