Well, I had posted an entry last night and it went boom. For some strange reason, the autosave feature does not work for me.

Anyway, I wanted to send virtual (((hugs))) to and thank [profile] dm_lunsford and [profile] scarym1  for giving me the heads up that my Daniel vid, "Die Another Day", won an award in the SMVA. I didn't even know it! Wheeeeee! I never even had the chance to watch or vote on all the vids in the competition. Congrats also to [personal profile] marimba26 for winning an award as well!!

In between ripping, ripping, ripping, I have had the chance to check out Horatio Hornblower on the recommendation of [profile] dm_lunsfordand am thoroughly enjoying it! I have decided that I am either very easy to please or I should always listen to my friends recommendations because it stands to reason that we will like many of the same things whether we know it or not. Also check out my journal page for my new header/banner. Sure, it's not a photoshop deluxe but I thought it turned out pretty well despite my limited programs. (and artistic talent.LOL)

(and thanks again to Michelle L for telling me what to do!)

I also went into great detail about my job and some folks extreme lack of anything remotely resembling a work ethic but now I am over it and am not going to go through it all again. (Don't think I don't hear all those sighs of relief).

Rural, I enjoyed our chat and chance to get caught up.

So, I have watched the ending first it would seem. But, that's it? After Duty, there is no more?

(sputters) But, he just found out she was pregnant! It certainly didn't feel concluded.

That's not the end of the Horatio stories - the books continue with his career until he's well into old age. (And no, I haven't finished them all yet.) But, alas, the movies have only been made up through "Duty". Last time I checked, prospects didn't look too good for any additional ones either. While Ioan Gruffudd has expressed interest to continue the role to the end, A&E has undergone something of a change in focus. And I don't know if they own the rights or not, or if it's open for another producer to possibly pick up. At any rate, I'm not holding my breath. : (

Well, that is certainly a bummer....I would like to see the whole thing. I suppose I can always add these books to my ever growing pile. I may not have as much time over the semester but I can certainly play catch up at the pool this summer...LOL!
