I rather enjoyed the season finale and am now disappointed that it will be 2008 before we see it again. Whether or not Chief, Tigh, Anders, and whatever that girl's name is actually turn out to be part of the final five, I find the idea of them believing themselves to be Cylons really fascinating and can't wait to see how that plays out. Would number 5 be Starbuck, perhaps? As for Starbuck, I knew she would be back. After all, the original Starbuck played a vital role in pointing the way to earth when he crash landed on that planet and ended up in a prison cell where he found these ancient drawings on his cell wall. Anyone else remember that episode? Though this updated version is different, they have always included certain elements that are reminiscent of the original series. (Thankfully, with the exception of Boxey and that silly, cybernetic dog!) For instance, I find it very interesting that Starbuck in the original series had an estranged relationship with his father. Of course, he was never as tortured as Kara, but, then again, none of them were.

But, really, if Tyrol is a cylon, how is his child any different than Hera? (other than being a cylon father instead of mother) I did feel that the four of them accepted that they must be Cylons rather quickly but loved how they resolved to keep doing what they had been doing. In light of that, I actually want them to be Cylons.

Lee, how I love thee when you aren't being insipid and whinge-y.

And I have had this strange idea that, if and when they find Earth, it will be the Earth of the ancient past rather than a present or future Earth. I could be totally off base but the thought has occured to me.......

This ep really made me like the show again. I agree with you 100% on Lee. I hope that with Kara back, they are done with all the whiny angsty crap between the two of them.

Here is a crazy thought I just had. That they find Earth in the far future and for whatever reason Mankind is no longer around. The Galactica then repopulates the planet and the human race continues on from there.
