gateslackerTwo postings in one day! Who says I don't have any time? I managed to submit another assignment that I worked on all of the day and, once it was done, I just couldn't face a three hour quiz. I don't have any brain cells left and since the quiz is designed by the instructor from you know where, I didn't want to worsen my grade because I was tired. Of course, I HAVE to take it tomorrow and I am sure to be just as tired after a day at the movies and shopping.
I can't spend too much money since there is honestly some question over whether my employer can make payroll this week! Things are looking pretty dire on the old work front and there have been rumblings that the place will close. It's not surprising since 60% of our patients are self pay with most of our other patients having medicare or tenncare. Reimbursement just plain sucks on a good day! Other than the addition of yet more hats, nursing isn't as effected as other departments simply because we have barely enough folks to cover the shifts as it is! My current shift isn't likely to be cut as it has actually been beneficial in reducing overtime since if someone calls in, I am already there or can come in early. I don't want to work anywhere else, really, especially as all the other hospitals are 30 miles away or more and starting over usually means back to nights. I am just going to stick with it and see what happens.
