Brief Update

I needed to paint last week and, yet, I spent two days doing relatively nothing other than the usual activities. I began to worry, as my Mother would have said, that my "get up and go had got up and gone". No worries, though. Though I didn't get any painting done, Wednesday, I managed to clean out the kitchen cabinets. In the process, I threw away about 30 old spices....who knows how long I had had them...LOL. I also think I had some rice that had been there since I moved in!! I also found quite a bit of stuff that's going into a yard sale. That pile is growing bigger by the day!! I also cleaned the front porch that is often neglected because it is seldom used. Birds had built a birdnest atop my lighting fixture! They were gone so I got rid of that, accidentally inhaling contents of the thing in the process. Yuck!  Hopefully, histoplasmosis isn't going to be in my future. 

So, all in all the week wasn't a complete washout. I also made a new icon that I am using for this post....

I did get your email. It just taking me a while to recover from MS' appearance on 24. For a short appearance, you won't believe the awesome pics that are being posted over at GW. By what MS has said in his blog we have alot more to look forward too. ; )

In addition, I have been busy putting the finishing touches on my bedroom. It is all done except for putting some pictures up. My plan is to send you off a reply tonight. Only ten days left!!! : )

Renovations are a good excuse to really go through all the crap I have. I have a bag of crap to throw out and one bag of clothes to donate.
