New Floors!!

I am so excited about my new hardwood floors that I just felt the need to inundate my f-list with pics. (((((hugs)))) to f-list for putting up with me! My house feels like a new house and it is amazing how much these floors seem to open up the space and make all my old furniture feel new as well.

My living room where I hang out in the evenings tuned in to whatever tickles my fancy at the moment.
Moving onto the entry...

As for their maintenance? The best thing I ever did was buy a Hoover FloorMate. SO much easier.

Shiny! And having lived with hardwood floors for a while now, I can assure you that you are going to love them. So much easier to keep clean than carpet.

I also noticed you have a Rainbow. We just got one ourselves. I liked the aspect about it cleaning the air as well as serving as an actual cleaning system - and one that works on hardwood floors much better than dragging out my old Kirby with the non-carpet attachments. But the real clincher that sold me? Well, during the home demo when the guy pulled it out I had a mild fit of giggles as I realized it looked like a droid one would find in Star Wars. ; )

LOL! It does look like a droid!! I love the Rainbow but it can be a pain in the butt to set up and put away, what with the water and all. I do like the air cleaning, which is how I was using it in the pic.

I do, too! I would actually post more pics but it can be so time consuming and whatnot. I never did post the home office painting I undertook a while back. Brandon's room is going to go through a redo in the very near future. He has chosen Electric Lime as a paint color and some rather retro wall decals. I'll hopefully post pics of that when we get it all done.
