Again with the posting.
Oct. 24th, 2008 01:34 pmHere I am, in the library, and I just finished and submitted my assignment for the week. I always feel such relief when I do that. However, I am nearly running out of "patients" to write up. I have used one from work but I typically don't have the time needed to get such a detailed health history (and I do mean detailed) that is required for the write-up. It's just too busy most of the time. So, friends and family have provided the focus of the bulk of my assignments.
This morning, I attended the Honors Assembly for this nine weeks. Brandon made the A/B honor roll thanks to my constant surveillance and his fear of losing X-box live for the next nine weeks. He could do it every time if he really wanted to. He did write something for his English class that I thought was very good in addition to making me a bit misty-eyed. We still haven't really celebrated his Birthday but my tendency these days of letting these things sneak up on me worked out for him as one of his friends has mono. Hopefully, his friend will be better by the time my next Saturday off rolls around next week. Though it is highly unlikely, the fact that he has a pretty decent group of friends with whom he is always spending the night should afford me the opportunity to actually get back into the social scene. Unfortunately, I was never good at that sort of thing back in the day I was supposed to be good at it so getting back into that groove now is likely an insurmountable task...LOL!
I need to hit the grocery store but cannot stand the thought of it today. My kitchen could do with a thorough cleaning, too. I think I am going to do some more textbook reading for a bit and then I want to goof off for the rest of the evening.
