I don't think I recall ever going this long as a homebody. Seriously, it has been a few weeks and, still, I haven't wanted to leave my house unless I have to. Have I had a secret recluse deep down inside just yearning to get out (and stay home)? Mom says that it will all change once the pool opens. I hope she is right though I cannot deny that I have enjoyed this solitude somewhat. (Brandon left for Florida yesterday)

Some highlights of my day did include a nice walk as we are between rainstorms again. It has rained most of the week! Was I relocated to a rainforest and no one told me? Even so, the water was down today and the mud stench didn't make me retch.

I have had great fun discussing the season finale of Fringe here, finishing up The Last Enchantment, crying over a man's reunion with a gorilla, watching The Last Dragonlord (Again!), finishing up laundering the Himalaya of towels I found in Brandon's closet (three loads!), and reading fanfic since I can't get beyond the first step in that 12-step program.

I have to work tomorrow so I will have no choice but to leave my house.

Yes, I burned through them during that first evening..LOL. I was thinking of posting a separate post but never got around to it. (You know, since I am sobusy with fanfic and gorilla reunions ;-)I was pleasantly surprised to find myself liking this Doctor more that I thought I would. However, he seems even more frenetic than Ten, if that is possible. Plus, he seems to figure things out with nothing to go on. I don't care if he is 900 some odd years old. On a few occasions his conclusions seem to come out of thin air. I agree with what you said about plot versus characterization and I can only hope that improves. I like the new companion as well.

OK, did you catch the discrepancy in the last ep? I didn't until it was pointed out to me - when the Doctor comes back to Amy when she has her eyes closed and tells her to trust him and remember, he has his jacket back on. Doctor from the future? rewriting time? hmmmm...

I did, however, wonder at the man River Song supposedly killed. I couldn't help but wonder if it was the Doctor! I am curious to see how that plays out. I have a soft spot for Alex Kingston since I watched her on ER many years ago. I also just saw her again in Lost in Austin

I'm glad I'm not the only one!

And yes, you do get the impression that she has killed the Doctor in the future. Perhaps that part gets rewritten? Maybe somehow in there he'll get more lives so they don't have to leave that issue until the last minute. Mysteries!
