Well, I finished my edits on my proposal and read all the extremely boring position papers on the AANP website. In reading the position paper for the proposed DNP (by 2015) I found this gem that explains a lot...

"However, it is clear that the course work currently required in NP master’s programs is equivalent to that of other clinical doctoral programs"

Now, they tell me.

I digress from the original intention of my post. Because I am a fangirl and fangirls are devoted to the objects of their fangirl squee, I saw the trailer for "Parked" thanks to [livejournal.com profile] sabriel75  who got it from her friend who got it from her friend and so on. (Dontcha just love being connected!?!)

OMG! I don't think I have ever actually shed tears watching a trailer before. Because of this, I just had to share though, by now, all of my Merlin peeps have likely seen it. I guess when I squee, I want everyone to know it whether they want to or not! (And please excuse my wordiness...After all, I have been writing papers for two days!)

And, oh yeah, have I mentioned that Colin Morgan is just too amazing for words!?!

He is amazing but I'm like Bradley in that I have trouble with accents. So I had to watch it twice to figure out what Colin was saying.

I do, too, every once in awhile (Or it is a hearing thing because I watch quite a bit of productions with accents and it seems to be getting worse instead of better)

Oh well, all the more reason to rewatch, I say!

Due to Star Trek, Atlantis and one brief appearance in MaCgyver I am a fan of Colm Meaney. I don't watch Merlin but I was a bit surprised and pleased to see Colm here. This looks like a movie I would love to see. I wonder what the chances are we'll actually get it here in the States?

Yes, it is good to see Colm Meaney even though I was concentrating more on the performance of someone else. It seems the two of them have a good on screen chemistry even apparent in the trailer. I grow ever more amazed at Colin's range. I think he has my other fangirl crushes beat when it comes to "teh acting". Yeah, I went there!

IDK. Having watched a great deal of crap for the sake of my fangirl leanings, I really didn't have super high expectations. I was really blown away by the trailer.

Who knows when we will actually be able to see it but I will be on the lookout, that's for sure. I'll let you know.

Fangirls, Unite! Hey, I need to make that into an icon but don't have the time. Maybe after December 17th, perhaps.

Seriously, though, I become ever more amazed at this kid's range. (Yeah, I alternate between "Yowza" and "Aww". It's "Aww today. I must be feeling old)

I actually think he has my other fangirl crushes beat with regard to his mad acting skilz. Never thought I would say that!!
