I know it can't be helped but my preceptor had a family emergency with his MIL on Wednesday and wasn't there today as well! So, while this is good for my scholarly synthesis paper that I will now have time to work on today, it is bad with regard to clinical hours. If only I didn't have to work at my real job, I could be finished with my practicum by now. But, the real job pays real money and I can't afford to work less so I don't have too much leeway in my schedule as it is. I may have to do a bit of nickle and dime-ing it with regard to getting in the time in and being able to complete coursework.
Gah, is it December 17th, yet!?!

Date: 2010-11-13 02:40 pm (UTC)Thankfully, I got over it. (Mostly)
I'll add "It will work out" to my ongoing mantra, especially as I will be tied to this computer screen for long periods of time this weekend.
Actually, it would be worse had I not been able to spend time working on it yesterday. It seems so slow going. I spent 5-6 hours yesterday and I only ended up having 4 more pages to show for it?? But, research/scientific papers are always that way because of the multiple references and reading over your source materials again and again and again.
