Gah!

I know it can't be helped but my preceptor had a family emergency with his MIL on Wednesday and wasn't there today as well! So, while this is good for my scholarly synthesis paper that I will now have time to work on today, it is bad with regard to clinical hours. If only I didn't have to work at my real job, I could be finished with my practicum by now. But, the real job pays real money and I can't afford to work less so I don't have too much leeway in my schedule as it is. I may have to do a bit of nickle and dime-ing it with regard to getting in the time in and being able to complete coursework.

Gah, is it December 17th, yet!?!

Thank you for the mantra. My weekend is mostly tied up in working on my paper so I will be repeating it often.

I'd rather be watching the HP marathon you will have going on in your basement!

Sorry about that! Just keep repeating "it will work out, it will work out!"

This post might be a little pick me up for you...scroll down about a third of the way: http://caz963.livejournal.com/402358.html#cutid1

Hee! Her picspam had all sorts of pretty in it and I had to LOL at the comment, "pervy old cradle snatcher". Yep, been there.

Thankfully, I got over it. (Mostly)

I'll add "It will work out" to my ongoing mantra, especially as I will be tied to this computer screen for long periods of time this weekend.

Actually, it would be worse had I not been able to spend time working on it yesterday. It seems so slow going. I spent 5-6 hours yesterday and I only ended up having 4 more pages to show for it?? But, research/scientific papers are always that way because of the multiple references and reading over your source materials again and again and again.
