I'm behind on the shows and I have yet to catch up with Fringe but I just wanna say how great SGU has been thus far.
Yeah, bullet point. Because I'm scattered.
Both Visitation and Resurgence because I watched them back to back and they are jumbled up in my head.

- Oh, Tamara, I wanted to cry with you! Watching your hope die was heartbreaking.
- Yeah, I didn't have any feelings for Caine and his people because I didn't know them. Still, it was sad that they didn't have a successful go on that planet and those last scenes with Caine and Tamara and then the kino vid were really poignant.
- I appreciated the mystery that I didn't figure out and am impressed that SGU keeps doing that to me.
- Rush, Young, and Camille working well together FTW!!! I am loving it even if it may not last.
- I was floored at what happened to Telford earlier in the season but rather meh when he showed up. Rather anticlimactic.
- I liked how the aliens expected a double cross, which it would have really been if Rush had his way.
- Poor Eli. So telling that he could talk about Riley but not about Ginn. Hugs him!!
- Ugh, now how long are we going to have to wait for the next episode? January? June?
- I hate cliffhangers. Why does it always have to end with a cliffhanger?
- But the most absolute heart wrenching scene for me was Greer's scene with Chloe when he tells her that he will be the one to kill her and asks for her forgiveness. Oh, I was slain. Tears were shed.

Date: 2010-12-05 07:17 pm (UTC)I really like the friendship that is developing between Camille and Eli. Eli's speech about missing Riley was so moving. The look on his face when She asks him about about Ginn makes me want to hug him.
Even tho the transformation looks like it will be bad for Chloe, I don't know if it is necessarily a bad thing for the Destiny. I think that maybe the Destiny has figured out how to use it for its own advantage.
I keep thinking that there is going to be consequences for Telford (from his time with the Aliens) in the second half. When the Caine and his gang returned they were given checkups and put under guard but Telford was welcomed back without a second thought and given full run of the ship. That just seems odd to me.
It sucks but I think it will be April before we see the 2nd half.

Date: 2010-12-05 09:19 pm (UTC)And poor Eli. He just doesn't have the capacity to deal with Ginn. And he's just so puppy dog hurt! I suspect there's a long line waiting to give him a hug. :)
The planetary funeral ship was an awesomely magical storyline. It makes me think that those particular aliens are benevolent, to an extent. They wanted to reunite them with their people and give them a chance to say their goodbyes. (If only they'd known!)
And does anyone else think Chloe's going to turn into Destiny's pilot?

Date: 2010-12-08 01:25 pm (UTC)Hummmm... I hadn't considered that though I am not certain that what is happening to her is what everyone else thinks is happening to her. So, that is a nice little mystery.
Yes, there is probably a long, long line waiting to give Eli a hug.

Yes, I also noticed that they just took everything Telford said at face value.

Date: 2010-12-08 01:28 pm (UTC)It could be worse. I just finished series 3 of Merlin and that won't be back till next September. But, at least there is no cliffhanger there, thankfully.
Darn that BBC and their tendency to have series with few episodes..at least compared to the 20-22 we are used to.
